Love Being Too Faced

Too Faced Cosmetics

OC’s guru of glam, Jerrod Blandino, the creative director and co-founder of Too Faced Cosmetics, is an OC native who still lives and works in the area creating products for one of the hottest indie cosmetic brands today.

Jerrod will be visiting Sephora at South Coast Plaza Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m. to offer one-on-one consultation, a personalized face chart, and recommendations for creating a perfect look. Be one of the first 75 customers to purchase the exclusive Sephora Enchanted Glamourland 19-piece gift set while Jerrod is in the store, and you will receive a full sized Too Faced Lava Gloss black eyeliner—he’ll even autograph limited-edition Holiday pieces.

Customers can book a complimentary makeover with the Too Faced artistry team by calling Sephora at 714.429.9130. Consultations can be booked from noon to 6 p.m.

Jerrod, once a Beverly Hills makeup artist, founded Too Faced Cosmetics nearly 12 years ago after he became frustrated with the lack of creativity, color variety and selection available for his celebrity clients. So Jerrod developed custom-blends in chic color choices and one-of-a-kind formulations. The Too Faced craze began after Madonna called about his first glitter shadow. Today, Too Faced Cosmetics is available worldwide and has an impressive roster of celebrity fans including Carrie Underwood, Gwen Stefani, Lady Gaga, Rachel Zoe and the Kardashians.

The End of Zschoche!

After more than 15 years of running Zschoche on Balboa Island, multi-talented owner Michael Zschoche is closing his eclectic lifestyle store. He’s not disappearing however. He’s just taking time to pursue and work on his other projects. He runs Nzch, a Laguna Beach based branding and advertising firm; Larry, a recycled vintage clothing line found at Sydney Michelle and Queen B. in Newport Beach, Troy Lee Designs at the LAB in Costa Mesa; as well as online at LarryParts.com.

Zschoche is also working on the growth of the new quarterly Locale Magazine focusing on living like a local. Zschoche is liquidating all inventory—merchandise is reduced 40 to 65% off. It’s a great time to stock up on holiday gifts and save on personal items, innovative decorative pieces, and home furnishings. The store carries high-end brands including Missoni Home, Judy Ross, Dayna Decker, Flor, Shine, Home, Cop Coping and Arnold Zimberg. Zschoche was the first to carry Tom’s shoes in Newport Beach. 209 Marine Ave. in Newport Beach. 949.673.2220.
